Throughout the week our entire school came together as a community to raise money for the Sunshine Academy. We had students, teachers and parents working incredibly hard selling baked goods, creating a teacher jail, selling toys, throwing pies, even our male teachers wearing dresses!! The amount we raised is UNBELIEVABLE!! I am so proud of the change we can make when we are determined and work together. Here is an encouraging note from our Principal:

"Through the great generosity and support of our students, staff and especially parents, the ISNS community raised 25339.20 RMB which is beyond the total of last year! Our Executive Director, Joyce Pang has generously agreed to once again double this amount bringing it to a total of 50678.40 allowing us to provide a full year of educational support for 25 children in the Sunshine Academy.  We will be presenting a check to a representative of the Sunshine Academy at our evening Winter Concert on Thursday, December 19th.  Thank you so much for your wonderful support!"
